9th Inning

Well...if you were watching the Twins game tonight, we lost in the 9th inning. However, it was a SUPER great experience, sat next to this ADORABLE little boy who seriously was what you would envision a 'little new york kid'. Dark, shaggy hair, adorable accent, just adorable. I wanted to take him home. He was keeping book for the game, telling me who his favorite player was (used to be A-rod, now it's Jeter), this was his 6th game in the new stadium, etc. Adorable. So I was glad the Yankees won for his sake. Plus, I would MUCH rather have New Yorkers taunting Bryan and I on the streets and in the subway for losing...rather than being ANGRY at us for winning...in a closed off subway car, no security, packed with solid yankees fans...etc. You get the picture :) (Bryan of course was not concerned)

But, overall, it was a SUPER fun start to our New York trip and I feel like I've been here for 3 days already for how much we've done and seen. Not sure what's on the agenda tomorrow, hopefully a boat tour or a ride on the Staten Island Ferry if it's nice out, a broadway show and a fun restaurant or something. We had hopes of getting in line tomorrow morning at 7 for tickets to the SNL taping for tonight...but...it's the season finale and Will Ferrel is hosting, so the people are already camping out on the street waiting for the ticket booth to open in the morning. No lie.

Alright, bed time. Been up since 3:30.
