The construction zone dining room. Hard to see...but the 'cups' I bought online, turned into GREAT table decor :) Along with the hand-crafted backhoe we found at an art fair in Minneapolis last year made out of spark plugs, spoons, elecrical boxes, and more. Oh, and the $4 twin sheets turned into table cloths.
The cake...wasn't too thrilled with the bright blue and yellow border, but, still better than what I could have attempted to make myself.
look familiar? :) This one turned out 'dirtier' tho...that's what I was trying to get across to the cake ladies at Hy-Vee.

What were once kid size construction hard hats...which were too big for Connor and Ashlyn but too small for us, turned into great chip holders :)
