The surgeon was able to collect 2 good samples of colonic wall. Results will be read tomorrow sometime...we'll go from there. If nerve cells are absent, diagnosis is correct and surgery will proceed as planned on Monday. If nerve cells are present, I guess we're back to square one?? We'll find out tomorrow.
One interesting thing was that Connor had a very big bowel movement after the biopsy endoscope was removed...hmmmmm. Wouldn't it be a miracle if that's all it took to get things going? : )

Hi to all at Children's Hospital -- instead of taking Grandma to dialysis today (weather is horrible here), I went with Ron to his cousin's husband's funeral. Sat by one of his other cousins whose grandbaby just went through the same thing - they live by Fargo and they ambulanced the baby to Children's Hospital. Had to do surgery but all is perfectly fine now. She spoke very highly of the staff there - so know that you are in great hands!
Love, Rita
