his first ride

The ambulence unit just came to our room to let us say goodbye (just for a few hours) to Connor before he left on his trip to the cities. They have him on IV fluids to nourish him, a tube down his nose to try and help get rid of some of the gas in his tummy and then he's on antibiotics as a preventative measure. He looked really content (for having all that crap hooked up to him) at least, which is good. And I'm sure one day he'll see these photos and think this thing he's in is really cool. So, we're just going to wait here to get discharged, then we'll be on our way.

Grandpa Bode was able to get here and spend a bunch of quality time with him. he just got back from being on the road in Chicago, so that was great, and Grandpa Loula is in transit back from Brazil, will be back in the cities tomorrow morning.

Will update more once we get up to the cities.

Oh, I am so sorry you are going through this but I know it's going to be ok in the end. I have been watching your blog since Wed. morning and I feel so lucky to have the inside story! Thank you for sharing these past days... I will pray for you and Baby Connor and I hope that you will be able to go home soon and that this will all be a memory.

We are all praying for you Little Connor- along with Mom and Dad. God tells us to " cast all our cares upon Him-for He cares for You". Take that to heart and "lean on" those words.
God Bless All.

Love and Hugs- Grandma/ Grandpa Bode
