Post-Op

We were so surprised when we went to go see Connor after his surgery that he was wide awake! Well...wide awake and drugged.. :) He will keep his epidural in for a few days yet to relieve him of the pain, and yes, it's working much better than mine, thank God. Grandma and Grandpa Bode also came up to greet Connor out of surgery so that was great for Connor. We'll update today once we get to the hospital with how his night went and everything. Notice his little bandage over the incision is in the shape of a heart :) Okay, and, he looks a little pale...but, remember what he just went through :)

Good morning Bodes!
Little Connor looks ready to face the world again :-) A few days of R & R in the hospital and he'll be ready to face it alone with the two of you - what fun that will be! I'm so glad that the pull-through worked for him - way to go, Connor!

Oh my goodness, the prayers really did work for this little guy!!! I for one couldn't be happier, Christy you looked so hurt and frightened and I almost started to cry too. I know its scary when its your child and your very first one no less! He is beautiful and I can say that because even if he is a little boy, at this age it really doesn't matter...he is beautiful!! You and Bryan are blessed and many of us here at work have been all but glued to this blog for the updates. Thank you all for doing this for us too, and God bless all of you! I am going to continue to watch as the photography is wonderful and the messages are awesome.
Hugs to you all,
Linda Snyder

I am so happy and relieved that Conner is ok. I heard on Friday that the little guy had to go back to the hospital and was thinking and praying for you guys all weekend. I can't wait to meet him! He looks so handsome! :)

Bryan, Christy & Connor,
We thank God today for answering our(& many others)prayers! Connor is already looking pretty good, the younger you are the faster you heal - he should be doing great in no time! We will pray that things continue to go well this week so you can go home, as a family, this weekend:) Take Care!!
